But first, how does it differ from the Corrective Therapy sessions?
The Corrective Therapy/ Muscle Balancing sessions are a great way to be assess, get manual therapy releases, and gain a few exercises to maintain yourself. A perfect choice for those off-chance niggles, a start for those more long-term goals.
The 1:1 Coaching takes all the goods from Corrective Therapy into a more in-depth, long-term, goal driven, and sustainable approach. Where we can get right into the nitty-gritty, purely because we have the time and your full commitment.
What does it involve?
First, we will chat about your current situation, what you currently put your body through, your daily tasks, activities and routines. Then discuss your goals, where you want to take your body, what you want to get from your body, and the things you would love to continue doing or even "get back to." We also look at limitations and the real-life factors that may slow you from reaching your goals.
We then do a deep assessment to create an understanding of your body and "where there's room for improvement." Including photos and videos taken for reference. We will discuss our findings to start developing your 'own body understanding.'
Once we are both happy, I will create your first 'Become Balanced' program, which has a duration of 2 weeks. This will include specific self-release techniques, stretches, activation and strengthen exercises, breathing patterns and meditations... all based on getting you to your goal.
After every 2 week block, we will catch up to again discuss, assess and develop the next program. We will also do a few manual therapy releases and adjustments too! Each fortnightly program is modifiable to what's going on in your life at that particular time... because sometimes life happens.
You have complete contact with me for any questions and concerns, as well as video demonstrations for every technique/exercise prescribed.
There is no limit to where we can go, what we can achieve! I suggest a minimum coaching period of 3 months, however, you may require only a month, or up to a year.
